I am a st category girl my CRL rank is 616902 and category rank is 14499 can i get NITs i prefer mechanical branch

With a CRL of 6.16 lakh and an ST category rank of 14,499 , getting Mechanical Engineering in top NITs such as National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, National Institute of Technology Surathkal, or National Institute of Technology Warangal is highly unlikely, as ST category closing ranks for Mechanical are typically much lower.

However, you may still have chances in:

• National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh
• National Institute of Technology Puducherry
• National Institute of Technology Goa
• Some newer NITs or lower-demand branches through CSAB special rounds.
