I am a student of 12th board PCM. How do I start preparing for Nata 2020 with simultaneously preparing for 12th board???
Hey riya .
First of all . Plan. Get famaliar with the pattern of the exam and its syllabus, go through previous question papers and understand the difficulty of the exam.
Now make a plan. Do not go overboard. for the first part which is aptitude which carries 120 marks you have to answer 120 questions in 60 minutes so thats 2 questions per minute. Try and develop speed. Understand and recognise repeated important topics and make notes while studying them.
REVISE.PRACTICE. the most important and the most ignored parts of a exam preparation. Practice until you attain your required score.
for the second part which is 2 drawing questions carying 40 marks each you will have 2 hours so while developing your artisctic skills develop your creative and observational skills. Learn to scale, propertionate and imagine dimensions from all directions and practice wih taking a single object and draw it from top, bottom, sides so that you understand how dimensions work.

Hello Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well!!
Here I am mentioning some tips to prepare for your Nata exam while studying in 12th-
- Study & Practice Every Day- start study the preparation books and study materials every day without failing.
- Practice previous year Question Papers- The older version of the test will provide a very important insight regarding the format of the NATA exams.
- Consult your Teachers/Tutors.
- Prepare a Better Time-Table so as to manage your 12th and your entrance exam preparation.
- Check and refer the syllabus of the NATA entrance exam and study according to it.
- Keep nourishing your skills of sketching by practicing to sketch anything you like as much as you can as among the two papers, first one is the drawing ability test.
- Try to make less use of eraser while sketching.
- Manage your time and give equal importance to both 12th exam and to NATA exam as well.
Hope this answer will help you
Best of luck!!
