How many number I need to secure a seat in IIT in engineering physics in jee advanced 2019? I am a SC category student.

It all depends on your AIR
If you are AIR 1-50 IIT BOMBAY CS IS YOURS.
Air 51-100 IIT DELHI CS IS YOURS.
Rest depends on your AIR IN JEE ADV. (FOR IIT ADMISSIONS)
JEE MAINS AIR (FOR NITs IIITs GFTIs). All the best.

Since you have given JEE Advanced, you must have cleared JEE Main examination with certain rank.

You now have all colleges available as an option which take admissions through both Main & Advanced. All NITs, IITs, GFTIs & some state engineering colleges accept admissions through JEE Main. Given that you get desired All Inidia Rank in JEE Advanced, you may get admission in any of 23 IITs or IISCERs.

Further each college has different branch options available, so you have decide it on your interest or look for the past year opening or closing ranks to get idea of which college you can get.
