I am aiming to have a job in Quality control and Quality assurance department...Is that a good option have as per salary wise?
Hello Pravin,
Yes, I will refer to work in Quality Control and Quality Assurance as a good option as far as salary options. Quality Control and Quality Assurance are a critical role in most industries such as manufacturing, IT, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce and more, so long as quality standards are defined, it is easy to monitor them, and just easy to give assurance for the product and service. Generally to start in any entry-level QC/QA job, salary levels depend on the industry you worked along with the location (city or province). But once you start working and gaining experience and a better skill set (such as formal credentials in Six Sigma, ISO, or test management tools), there are greater opportunities to develop as a QC/QA specialist and improve the salaries. Also QC/QA roles have clear succession paths to managerial or senior roles that pay better salaries and provide greater benefits. So if you are preparing to launched into working in QC / QA then there will be some good rewards if you appropriately develop the skill and remain committed.
