I am alloted for the computer engineering, will I need a laptop?

It is advisable to have a laptop as you will need it especially if you are pursuing computer science. Most of the colleges provide internet facilities but for projects and presentations and all you will require a laptop.

Since you are getting CSE branch, you'll get to be familiar with coding and stuff and for that you will be needing a laptop. But if you have a computer lab in your college then you can use the computers there. At least two years can be passed without it but I guess you will need it from onwards.
