Hello,
JEE Main is conducted every year twice for admission to engineering courses in NITs, IIITs and other engineering colleges throughout India.
If you have already cleared JEE Mains 1 then you need not appear in JEE Mains 2.
The best score of the two is considered for admissions.
However it is recommended that you appear for JEE Mains 2 as you might get better marks. It won't create any problem even if you score lower than your 1st one. In that case your score of JEE Main 1 will be considered for admissions.

Hello,
If you pass in JEE Mains 2020 in January session, and if you get a very good percentile by which you get a seat in NIT's then you prepare for JEE Advanced else you prepare well for JEE Mains paper 2 and score better in this paper.
