I am an sc candidate (female category)what is the minimum percentile to get nit?? What is percentile to get decent nit??
Hello,
To get admission to get admission in to NIT you need to score the cut off percentile. The cut off percentile changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. In 2020 the cut off percentile for SC category was 50.1760245 this year it is expected to be in between 50-55 percentile. So you should aim to score minimum 50-55 percentile in JEE Main. But just scoring the cut off percentile is not enough. You need to score minimum 94-96 percentile or above in JEE Main. To score such percentile you need to score minimum 140-160 marks.
