Dear Asmita,
As for my experience, once being an iit aspirant. I'll tell you that the last 2-3 months for any competitive exams are very crucial. These are the peak time of your life. Here people usually lose hope in their preparation, like in your case. But it is the student's determination and effective hard work that reflect in your performance. There is still time for you to get back on track. In this period you have to focus on your studies solely. Don't panic and continue practicing questions. Do self tests, revision and all. It will surely improve your performance.
Good Luck!
Dear Aspirant,
First of all you must check out the syllabus and point out the topics you are comfortable with and which you are not comfortable with at all. Then start practicing the topics you can solve and leave the others. Keep on solving the topics and once you are done with them. Make third category of medium topics and prepare for them now. It will be difficult but you should not think about the things you are not comfortable at all and keep your focus on the things in your hand.
Then start solving the previous year papers and solve them in the time frame and after that solve all the questions. Do this exercise in the last 2-3 weeks.
