I am Bc category student but during the submission of jee form i choose there obc category will it create any problem for counselling

Dear Asif, BC is a Backward Caste Category that has few subcategories. This is for Backward Caste Category candidates. BC stands for Backward Castes and it is quite a generic term. While OBC stands for Other Backward Castes and people who are Socially and Educationally Backward. The Govt. has categorised few castes in this category with an aim to uplift them socially and accademically. That is the reason there are 2 categories NCL and CL. Now if you select OBC as your category and submit the necessary certificate, you will have to stick to it forever and you cannot switch to OBC later on. You cannot claim BC reservation. So please think about it and take a step. And switching the categories needs proper documented proof.
