Hello Bhavana,
YES, you can certainly register for CSAB Special Round as you are JEE Main qualified. The required cutoff for OBC-NCL category is 74.31 percentile whereas you have 84 percentile, so you are JEE Main qualified and hence eligible to apply for CSAB counselling. Now the CSAB counselling process will start after the end of JoSAA counselling process. Through CSAB Special Round you could get a seat in NITs,IIITs and GFTIs. Below I have provided the eligibility criteria for CSAB Special Round 2019 -
- The candidates should have valid JEE Main rank and should also meet up with the JoSAA eligibility criteria.
- Those candidates who haven't participated or registered for JoSAA are also eligible to apply for special round.
- The candidates who failed to get a seat through JoSAA 2019 after participation can also apply for special round.
- Candidates who got seat through JoSAA but failed to report to the alloted institiute or have withdrawn their participation from counselling can also apply for CSAB special round.
- For candidates who didn't opted to participate in Special Round after JoSAA will not be eligible to participate in Special round counselling.
