Yes, dyslexic candidates are included in PwD category. To be considered for admission under PwD category, such candidates need to submit Dyslexic Form and not the PwD form. Also, the person issuing the certificate must be a doctor specializing in psychiatry and associated with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)/Dyslexia Associations. Additionally, the certificate must have the term SEVERE clearly mentioned on it.
Dyslexic candidates are also eligible to apply for the services of a scribe if they want to. To avail the services, the candidate needs to request the Chairman, JEE (Advanced), of the respective zonal coordinating IIT in the prescribed format (FORM-SCRIBE). online registration for JEE Advanced

Note: To ensure that benefit offered to dyslexic candidates is not misused, individual IITs may set up medical boards at the time of admission.
