hi deepak,
are you talking about 12th board?which board do you belong to? it depends on The board you study in. but as much as i know in all boards there are compartment exams for cbse board. you can appear for the subjects you have failed again .check this link- http://cbse.nic.in/examin~1/scheme06ex.htm . it tells the eligibility criteria for compartment exams.
