I am getting 457 marks, can I get govt medical seat under OBC Category in Tamil Nadu?
hey joyal
you are expecting great marks this year but it is not enough to get a government medical seat in tamil nadu even if you belong to obc category under both state and all india quota. previous year cut off was more than 555 marks for OBC category. but you might get private colleges or dental colleges if you are intrested. use the following link to predict college on the basis of neet score https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=neet_clgpd_landing_page&ici=clevertap-sticky-web#

Hello Joyal,
Congratulations on such a great score.
In NEET 2017 the cut-off marks for BC are 311 and MBC is 251 which ensured a seat in the last ranked Govt Medical College, Pudukottai. This year this is expected to be in the range of 360+ for BC and 320+ for MBC, Any case 400 is a safe mark for a BC/MBC candidate to get a seat in Govt medical college.
So let's wait for the merit this year you'll probably end up in some good govt college.
