Hello Sanika,
There is a Short Service Commision special entry through NCC for women.
Here I will explain the eligibility criteria and admission procedure through NCC step-by-step in chronological order.
First, let us look at the eligibility criteria for the same
First and of immediate importance to you is that you must take Physics and Mathematics as your subjects in +2 since you require a minimum of 60% in both these subjects in 10+2 to be eligible for entry through NCC
• Educational Qualifications
- Flying Branch: A Bachelors degree in a course of minimum 3 years from a recognised university with 60% or equivalent aggregate scores
- Ground Duty: In addition to the above, a post-graduate degree in a science, mathematics or geography based field
• NCC AIR WING SENIOR DIVISION C Certificate
• Age
- Flying Branch: 20-24 years
- Ground Duty: 20-26 years
• Height
- Flying Branch : 162.5cm
- Ground Duty: 152cm
Now, when you have met the above criteria you can apply for SSCW Air Force for either Flying Branch or Ground Duty (Meteorology Branch) through Indian Air Force online application form
All the applicants will then be screened through Stage 1 that will include - Officer Intelligence and Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test
Applicants who clear Stage 1 will receive a call to one of the AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) centres - Dehradun, Varanasi, Kancharapara, Mysore or Gandhinagar
Here Stage 2 will be commenced which will include psychological tests, group tests and interview round.
This will be followed by a medical examination and then a merit list will be released announcing the selected candidates.
Now you are much to young for all of this and the procedure may undergo some variations by the time you are old enough to apply.
So for now, work hard on your education with math and physics in focus, eat well so you can be tall and strong enough to meet the height and weight criteria and keep making progress with NCC.
If you wish to know other routes of entry into the Air Force for women, let me know in the comments section.
Good Luck! :D
