I am going to appear for MAT in may this year, do I need to apply to colleges separately along with giving my preferences in the MAT form?

Yes there is seperate registration however with MAT forms inbuilt they have application so scores get automatically submitted to colleges u applied by MAT aiima.
and some colleges need seperate registration
