CAT is the entrance examination for admission to Masters Programmes. The minimum eligibility criteria is that you should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. But after 12th, if you want to join any IIM, you should take up IPMAT . IPMAT is the entrance examination for admission to Integrated Management courses. But CAT is for admission after Bachelor's and not after 12th.
