MPPSC doesn't need any special degree and students from any course can go for MPPSC. English honors is a pretty good field and can be utilised very well for MPPSC. You english understanding level needs to be appropriate and also your knowledge about the subject. Rest is your general aptitude and tests your present knowledge about the world. You don't special preparation, all you need to do is keep yourself updated and should know a good knowledge about the static GK.

Candidate must be a citizen of India. Age Limit for MPPSC: Candidates age limit should be between 21  28 years for Dy. Superintendent of Police, Assistant Superintendent Jail & Transportation Sub-Inspector and 21  40 years for other posts.
You should do section wise preparation for MPPSC as-
First, General Science and setting
Questions on general science and setting (Environmental Ecology, multifariousness & Climate
Change).
Develop observation skills.
Current Events of National & International Importance.
In History, queries of noesis associated with social, economic and political aspects are
asked. Also, there'll be queries on Indian National Movement and Development of freelance
India.
geographics of Bharat
There will be queries of noesis with reference to Physical, social and economic
geography.
General Geographical awareness of world.
Indian Polity and Economy
Political system and constitution of the country, Panchayati dominion, scheme, property economic
development, elections, political parties, plans, industrial development, foreign trade and economic
and money establishments.
Important games and sports tournaments, Awards, personalities and notable Sports establishments of
M.P., India, Asia and World.
Seventh, Geography, History and Culture of M.P.
There will be queries associated with the event of Mountains, rivers, climate, Flora and Fauna,
Minerals transportation within the geographics of Madhya Pradesh.
