i am in 11std i want to appear for C. A foundation, how can i begin with the preparation
For eligibility to appear for C.A Foundation, you have to complete 10+2. So, you still have a lot of time for preparation.
The foundation level consists of 4 sections:
- Principlesand Practices of Accounting.
- Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting.
- Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics.
- BusinessEconomics and Business and Commercial Knowledge.
If you are in commerce, then by the end of 12th, you will be familiar with all these subjects. The course will have 2 subjective papers and 2 objective papers.
To start preparation from now, focus on Statics and logical reasoning and learn how to use calculator properly. This will save a lot of your time later.
You can also join coaching if possible and if not, then go through the syllabus thoroughly and check the material you will need to study. You can get ICAI material to study if you want.
When you study, make a book of your own notes. This will help you during revision.
Download old sample papers and take as many mock tests as possible. Since you are in 11th right now, you may not be able to answer the entire mock test, but it will give you ideas about how the course is going to be.
Also, improve your presentation skills. You have enough time so take the advantage of that.
Pay attention to what you learn in school. It can be beneficial and will help you in preparation later.
