Since you are in Class 12th, you have totally 3 attempts to write the JEE MAINS examination and 2 attempts for JEE Advance examination, whereas from next year onwards the NTA is providing you the opportunity to write the JEE MAINS two sessions i.e in the month of January and in April in your single attempt. So overall you have 6 chances to write the JEE MAINS examination. Cheers !!!

Originally you have a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. You can appear twice for entrance test in a year. So, this if used in correlation with the original number of atempts, from 2019 onwards, JEE Main number of attempts in total will be six. And you have two attempts in cosecutive years for JEE Advanced.
