As you have reappeared in math exam in second year. I am providing you the tips to prepare for the math exam:

1. Instead of using multiple books for the syllabus, always rely on one key textbook. After that, guides and refresher books can be used to supplement your lessons.

2. Instead of just memorizing formulas, try to understand fundamental concepts. Spend your prep time understanding these concepts, which will allow you to derive these formulae as well.

3. Make an attempt to connect mathematical problems to real-world problems. The subject can be quite abstract at times, so looking for a practical application can help change your perspective while also making it more interesting.

4. Make a list of all formulae and a synopsis of major chapters. This will come in handy if you plan on doing multiple revision sessions. It will help you to go through the entire syllabus at once before the exam.

5. The key to revision is daily practice. Math cannot be acquired solely through reading and listening. Make it a habit to regularly practice questions from previous years' question papers. Devote 2-4 hours to the subject daily

6. Make it a habit to set a time limit for answering the questions. It will be useful not only on exam day, but also during revision sessions.

7. Every week, take one full-syllabus test and have it graded by your guide/coach/teacher. Try finishing test papers in 2 12 hours (instead of the actual examination time three hours). If possible, set your body clock between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., which corresponds to your exam time.

8. Analyze the mark distribution in questions and try to solve them accordingly.

9. Divide the chapters based on your skill level. Give the difficult chapters more time, while the easy ones can be scrolled through quickly.

10. Do not panic and take stress. Sleep well and attempt the exam with a fresh mind.
