I am in 8th std now what should I study to score more in neet exam
Hello aspirant,
It great that you are starting early. You get a total od 5 years for your preparation. Keep in mind the following things while preparing for the exam
- Focus on your text books ( most probably NCERT) and try to finish all the topic thoroughly, without leaving a single topic behind since every topic is equally important.
- After finishing the topic refer to books that are bit higher in level compared to NCERT and solve as many questions as you can
- Practice speedy calculating skill
- Even though mathematics is not a subject make your basic mathematics very clear
- Have a very good understanding of all the physics topics you will come across before reaching 11th standard, and also try to read reference books.
- Solve MCQs after you master any chapter since it will help you to assess your knowledge.
- Try to solve more and more numericals
- Practice concentrating for long hours at a strech
- Make a realistic timetable and stick to it.
- Maintain a healthy and stress free lifestyle which must include little refreshing entertainments.
Hope this would help
Good luck
It's great to hear that you are so much already decided with your career from a young age and also are aiming to start preparations. Keeping in mind that you also have to study your academics, I'll recommend you to start reading some biology chapters from neet the ones that you feel easy and a Lil connected with your portion. I guess you can go with human physiology as we had a little idea of those chapters in our 8th standard syllabus too. You can also start with chapters like periodic table, redox reactions the easy ones of chemistry. Physics is a little challenging but if you want to go on, then you can shoot with some easy chapters like measurement, physical world.
Best wishes. Thank you.
