Hi,

Yes, you can join a Sainik School in Class 9, but you will need to appear for the AISSEE (All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination). Students who are currently studying in Class 8 are eligible to apply for Class 9 admission.

For Class 9 admission:

You must be studying in or have passed Class 8 from a recognized school.
Your age should generally be between 13 and 15 years as of 31 March of the admission year.
