i am in final year psychology UG programme and want to go abroad for my masters but really confused in which university to apply for which is appropriate in all the aspects
Hello ,
Bring a psychology student myself, I always recommend knowing which specialization you want to go for. Every university has different criteria. It is a little hard to get admission as an international student but not at all impossible.
The hardest uuniversities to get into are Harvard, Oxford, Stanford, Princeton and University of California because they have very, very low acceptance rates. You can totally apply for them and get admission if you have a good record of not only grades but also extracurricular activities .
That does not mean that there are not Other universities which are not prestigious enough.
There is University of British Columbia, Mcgill university, University of Toronto, University Of Waterloo, are also one of the greatest Canadian Universities with great acceptance rates.
At the end of the day, no matter what university you choose, your hardwork will determine how successful you become.
Hope this helped. good luck for your future!
Hello aspirant
Getting a masters degree in psychology in abroad is a great option However it's really difficult to get admission for Masters in psychology abroad as an Indian graduate because of accredition issues.we don't have any specialisation for bsc psychology in India . we follow a basic syllabus without deep knowledge and do specialisation in masters, whereas it's completely different in foreign countries where they have specialisation even in under graduate psychology.
You can try for the possibility to get Masters admission abroad otherwise you may have to take a psychology bachelor's degree from abroad again to study Masters there .
Studying Masters abroad gives you immense opportunities and scope in this field. Here are top 3 universities to pursue Masters in psychology.
1. University of Oxford
2. University of Cambridge
3. University of Stanford
Hope you find this information useful
Thanks
