You can start preparing for the entrance exam in your final year.
CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT/LPUNEST are the exams conducted for MBA. For eligibility of the exams you can check the criteria from their official website.
LPU also offers Scholarship on the basis of performance in these exams for the MBA programme.

There us not any particular point of tim for that.You can start whenever you feel the need and urgency and when you will have the proper time for concentration.
You can start from now onwards too as you will have a lot of time to prepare which will help you to score more so go ahead get a good coaching centre and start preparing.All the best wishes.
