Medical education in North America is unlike what we understand in India. In Canada specifically, not every university accepts international students. Those who accept offer very limited seats making it very competitive.

For example, Queens university accepts 100 students every year for medicine program, out of these only 5 are offered to Internation/ non-canadian/ non permanent residents.

The applicants must have the equivalent of a Canadian four-year university bachelor’s (honours) degree. As well as a good MCAT and TOEFL score.
