Medha, now, NEET is the mandatory entrance examination for Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary Courses across India. So if you want to study Obn & Gy abroad as a Speciality, you need to complete your MBBS here first. Which means you need to appear for NEET. For appearing in NEET, you should complete your 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as your core subjects. You should also secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now MBBS is a 50 month course with 1 year mandatory internship. Post this, you need to appear for USMLE and then take up residency in the US. After a year or two, you can take up Obstetrics and Gynecology as your specialisation.
