I am NEET 2026 appearing student. I cleared my 10th board exams from Maharashtra. Name sequence on my marksheet is Surname Name Father name. Till now my aadhar card, domicile and other required documents follow the same name sequence. But in future I want to change my name sequence to Name Father name Surname. Can I change my Aadhar sequence after I get admission into govt medical college or will I have to keep my documents aligned with the name sequence which is registered during admission process i.e Surname Name Father Name.

As per Our Suggestion would be Keep your documents in the current Surname Name Father Name sequence for NEET admission. You can change your Aadhar and name sequence later, but doing so after admission may complicate official college and medical council documents, so it’s best to maintain the original sequence at least until graduation. You are advised to consult the official before taking any steps.
