i am obc category what is the cut off for getting selected in neet is it 550???
Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you should not focus on marks rather you should focus on scoring as high as possible as such no minimum marks or criteria is there. It totally depends upon the level of paper if the level of paper is low then cutoff will increase and if the paper is hard then cutoff goes down. I would rather recommend you to score as high as possible.
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Hi
Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Karnataka
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not with 550 marks in a government medical college as cut off keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 550 marks you hold a very good chance in a Government Medical College under Karnataka state quota
For example,
in neet 2019, 426 marks for obc category got an mbbs seat in Govt. Medical College, Baroda under Karnataka state quota and it was for Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, MADIKERI

Now that,
limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,
-
practising chapterwise questions
-
then revising the chapters,
-
solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,
-
go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet
Thank you
