Being one financial advisor, requires more of commercial accounting and relevant experience.
With Engineering as your current stream, being financial adviser is out of scope.
Hence, after completing Your Btech you should take up management studies or MBA from top Bschools.
Hence,,you need to appear for competitive exams like CAT/ CMAT/ CET/ GMAT/ MAT/ XAT from final year of Engineering.
Specialization should be chsoen as Finance strictly which will cover all aspects to Insurance selling, Equity Analysis, Risk management and Compliance, Aiditing and Accounts, Financial product management, Investment banking and project management.
This will open plethora of opportunities as Relationship manager, Wealth manager, Financial consultant, Tax Planner, IPO Book Running Lead Manager, Risk Chief executive, Project Adviser, etc.
You can also go for M.phil or Phd after MBA to further specialise and become core specialist into Financial advisory for BFSI domain.
