The rank predictors available on verious websites dont tell you your exact rank but give an idea about your rank based on previous years data . There can be huge difference in rank predicted and rank secured because each year number of candidates are increasing which means competition is increasing . There can be hundred and thousands of student securing same rank. So even a mark difference decreases your rank to 1000's.

So , instead of lashing out you should better look for states where you have more chances to get in based on your eligibility and work harder.
