If you are looking for medicine as a scope of career, the best ones in government sector are AIIMS, JIPMER and some state colleges like that of Delhi, Mumbai etc. For private colleges , you can choose KMC Manipal, SRM university etc.
After admissions for MBBS will be through NEET except AIIMS and JIPMER which have their own exams. And qualifying in NEET is mandatory for admission.
Your entry to any college shall be based on the merit rank of NEET.

For non professional course like bsc du is the best
For professional courses like engineering IIT and NIT and for medical various decent medical colleges like aiims, maulana, lady Harding etc
