I am solving hcv and past year questions of JEE.Now which book should I prefer for more practice? Cengage or dc pandey?

As you are in 11th class now so you need lots of study material and new question to solve .
So I would suggest you to solve dc Pandey first after that cengage because cengage contains some good and tricky problems.
You can solve IE erodove for advanced and subjective questions
And you should solve questions banks of any one good institute ( Bansal; Allen ; fitjee etc)
Because if you are limited to only one book for numerical then your ability to solve new and unseen numerical will be not so strong.
But you should read theory only from one book

Dc pandey is also effective for preparation for the Jee mains.If you are in now 11 th then you have a lot of time ,you may solve .If you are thinking about Jee Advanced then You should solve Cengage.

Since you are solving HCV and last year paper, you will do good at mains. For advanced you really need good materials.

And according to me you should chose for cengage for practise. It contains questions from zero level to high level. It is the best resource for advanced preparation. Kota is the hub for coaching and cengage is written by some of teacher of kota only.

So go for cengage.
