I am studying 12th now( 2020-2021), can I write BITS 2021 exam??

This is because,

You are class 12th student of session 2020 -2021 means you are going to appear for this year's 12th board examination 2021 and as per eligibility criteria class 12th board examination appearing students are eligible for BITSAT examination

For reference, BITSAT 2021 eligibility criteria is provided below

To be eligible  BITSAT 2021 examination ,

=) you should be either appearing for 12th board examination 2021 or should have passed it in 2020 with PCM i. e physics chemistry and mathematics  (or PCB i. e physics ,chemistry and biology in case of students applying for B Pharma, PCM candidates are also eligible for B Pharma)

=) You should have got at least 75% marks in aggregate of physics chemistry  and mathematics ( if you have taken mathematics for your BITSAT examination)

or

at least 75% marks in aggregate of physics chemistry  and biology( if you have taken biology for your BITSAT examination)

=) you must have got at least 60% marks individually in each of physics, chemistry  Maths/ biology

=) There's no age limit to be eligible

-) conducted in online mode i. e it is computer Based Test

-)duration of bitsat exam is 3 hours

-)medium of bitsat examination is English

-) The question paper has 4 sections which are listed below -

• ->Part I - Physics , it has 40 questions

• ->Part II - Chemistry , it has 40 questions

• ->Part III - English Proficiency , ( it has 15 questions) and Logical Reasoning ( it has 10 questions)

• ->Part IV - Mathematics/Biology, it has 45 questions

Yes, you can surely apply for BITS 2021.

According to the eligibility criteria, candidates appearing for class 12th examinations in this year can give BITSAT 2021. Also, the student should have Physics, chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with the minimum aggregate of 75%. Also, english proficiency is required.

The eligibility criteria for  BITSAT 2021 is

• The candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board in 2020 or in 2021
• The candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class12
• Also, the candidates need to have minimum 75% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard.
