i am studying in class X right now and want to take pcm in class XI but all my senior friends who have science in class 11 right now and are nearly failing. i am just scared to take it and wanted to ask why does almost everyone fail in class XI ? this has no possible anwer though i just want to know

The thing is that in science one has to learn concept and then implement it in numericals along with derivation.  These part is quite difficult until you don't have the power to understand  concept. In case of arts and commerce , you have to elaborate everything. In these subjects you will be taught very deeply and at last ask you to write whatever you know. For example they will teach you 10 page and ask you to write 1 page. Thats too easy to grasp something out of vast ocean.

But, the thing is that science is easy too until you try to learn, if you try to byheart then it will become quiet difficult.  If you like math then it will appear easy to you.
