I am unable to produce my 10+2 certificate right now? Is there any other way to ensure that I don’t lose a seat?

Candidates can bring the marksheet duly attested by the principal in case the original one is unavailable. In case the result is awaited, candidates have to submit a letter from the college principal stating that the Board result is yet to be announced. For students whose result can be downloaded from the boards website, they may have to provide the user id and password for verification of the same.

As you have not mentioned the name of examination or name of Institute where you are going to reserve the seat, so it is not possible to guide properly.

Generally exam conducting authorities provides some relaxation in submission of 10+2 certificates because entrance exams are conducted almost in time with board exams. So there might be some delay in issuance of results and respective certificates.

Institute in which you want to reserve the seat will also offer some relaxation probably if not than talk to the management.
