jee mains exam can be attempted by three consecutive years , starting from the year on which you have passed the 12th course. so if you would appear in 12th on 2021, you can appear in jee main exam in 2021,2022, 2023.
for jee advance exam it can be attempted 2 times consecutively starting from the year of 12th course passing, if you would complete 12th course in 2021, you can appear in jee advance on 2021, 2022. however you must satisfy the marks criteria as well as age criteria to appear in exam.
