manipal university is a private research institute situated in the town of manipal in karnataka. it has its branches at jaipur, sikhim , dhubai and mangalore. now it known as the manipal academy of higher educcation and formerly it was known as the manipal university. it offers 218 programs in 19 disciplines. it covers over 600 acres of land. the prime focus is research and interpreunership activities with devoted labs and classrooms.
