I belong SC caste ,if I got admission in good institution through CAT , should I pay toution fee or govt will fund me ?

Tution fees are refundable if you apply for refund.
.
In time of admission you should only pay for it and then apply for refund which inversely provide you 50% of the refund at the time of 1st semester.
.
Your college itself provide you refund.If the College is not providing then ask them is government giving refund for tution fees.
.
You will be solved out with some or other facility.

Congrats for getting a seat alotted in good institution. Look,government never pays anyones fees for caste reason but SC caste people will surely get some fee waiver.Government only pays for scholarship for others it gives discount.

For SC caste,There is a fee waiver Scheme issued by the government by which every institute has to refund some amount to the people who belong to lower caste.The lower you go in caste more is the fees refunded.Hope this may he you.There may be 2 things either you have to pay full fee and then you get fee refunded or you will get discount while paying the fees.
