I belong to a caste where I have different categories in centre(gen) and state(obc),also I am an eligible EWS candidate in centre and can't be in state, during my state counselling registration i have filled the category according to centre(Gen-EWS),will I be facing problem at the time of reporting?
Hello,
Hopefully your query is regarding the reporting to the medical college after the result of Counseling for NEET Examination.
-------- Now I would like to tell you that National Testing Agency, NTA released a notice after the Results of NEET Examination stating, that Candidates had to fill the category which they fulfill in their state. (You can check the same on the official website of NTA) So going by this, you had to fill your category as OBC.
------- But since you had mentioned yourself to be General - EWS candidate, you will be required to produce documents in Original verifying your EWS status during reporting at the College you have been allotted.
I hope you find the answer helpful.
Thank you.
Hello candidate,
if your category is reporter differently on different location scissors you are from different category in the central list ofregional minorities and you are rated differently on the state list of minorities, then why reporting for the state counselling process you should carry your respective caste certificate and while going for all India category examination counselling you should present yourself as a general candidate as mentioned in your Central allotment list.
Hope you found it helpful. If you have any other queries feel free to post it here!!
