I belong to BC-E In telangana state So I kept in jee mains application under the OBC category ,, is it correct

Hello Summer,
You can apply as an OBC candidate in JEE Mains only if you can produce the OBC-NCL certificate. Because even though the Muslim community is included in the obc category in Telengana under the BC-E category, they are not recognized as OBC in the central list. Therefore you can apply under OBC only if you can produce the OBC-NCL certificate, otherwise you will have to apply as generalgeneral candidate.
