Absolutely you can apply for EWS .because the eligibility criteria for EWS are

1) should not come under sc/ st/ obc

2)you parental income should be below 8 lacks

these are the two major criteria.

Arshiya, if your family income from all sources is less than 6 lakhs per annum, you should select OBC-NCL as your Category. But if your family annual income from all sources is more than 6 lakhs per annum, you should select General Category. But when you are filling in the State Counselling form, you can select BC-E as your Category.
