Of course, you can pursue B.tech in IIT Kanpur irrespective of whatever income your family have considering the fact that you will clear JEEAdvanced exam with a good rank.

Well, though i am not very clear with your question but are you asking that how much fee concession you will get if your family income is 1.5 lakh?

If yes, then you will have to pay only 1/3 of the tuition fee as you falls under the category of students whose family income is 1 to 5 lakh. According to the rule, the student whose family income is 1 to 5 lakh, will get 2/3 of the tuition fee waiver.

To avail this facility you will have to submit your income certificate that should be approved by the higher authority of your area.
