You need to appear in neet examination to be able to get a seat in the best colleges like IIT NIT IIIT'S GIFT etc. Students are selected based upon their scores and ability to get best engineers. So you need to apply for JEE examination.

You can take admission in a college in this year (you can't take admission through jee ) and try jee main 2019.work hard to crack jee main.All the best for your career.
