Hello Aspirant ,

If you want to join IPS service you will have to attempt an all India competitive exam called UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) , it is one of the hardest exam in India . UPSC exam have 3 stages named Prelims , Mains , Interview and the whole process from the starting of prelims to final result takes around 1 year .

The qualification for this exam is that you need bachelors degree from any stream  and age of 21 as of 1st August on the year of examination .
