I clear my gate exam but having a backlog on 2nd and 3rd year and currently in my last sem of Btech Can I apply for Mtech counseling of CCMT 2024 with only 1st year marksheet.

Required Documents During Registration:

• Provisional certificate or a certificate from the Head of Institution (Format is given on the CCMT portal) stating that:

  • You're currently in the final semester of your B.Tech.

  • You will complete all degree requirements before the institute's deadline (usually around July or August).

• You may not need to upload all semester mark sheets at the time of initial registration.

• But during document verification , institutes may ask for previous semester mark sheets , including backlog subjects.

Backlog Condition:

• You must clear all backlogs before joining the M.Tech program.

• Institutes will not allow final admission if your B.Tech is not fully completed or if you have uncleared subjects at the time of final admission.

Documents Needed at Final Admission (after seat allotment):

• Provisional Degree Certificate or Final Marksheet.

• All semester mark sheets (up to 8th sem or last completed).

• GATE scorecard, valid ID, category certificate (if applicable), and passport-size photos.

• Since you're in the final semester , you should:

  • Apply with the certificate from the college head.
