The allocation of colleges is simple see we have total of 2300 Seat in all out these some seats are reserved for SC,ST,OBC,PWD and students with domicile and removing those seats other seats are for general category and for those seats all india rank is considered. So approax 1200 rank students get colleges meaning student if general category till 1200 rank get into one of the nlu. the cut off depends upon how students have given there preference like for example is a student with 140 marks have given his first person as jabalpur he or she will get jbp only and not nalsar hyderabad though it is ranked toped as compared to.jbp.
