I did MA Economivs from Madurai Kamraj University , Madurai in the year 2010 thru Correspondence. Is the degree valid for appearing for NET exam and eligible for lecturership anywhere in the country ? Please advise

Madurai Kamaraj University is recognized by UGC for providing distance programs,so you can definitely appear for UGC NET if you've passed with 55% aggregate in case you belong to general category, else in case of reserved categories there's relaxation of 5%.

Thanks for the prompt reply. However, there was a talk that Madurai Kamraj Univ Distance Education Degrees though recognized by UGC and AIU but not recognised by DDE hence makes it ineligible for any Govt Job. I’ve done a 10+2+3 thru regular education but my Masters is done thru distance education thru Madurai Kamraj. Pls advise. Can u advise if there is any Govt order or a court judgement to make it eligible which can be used for job interviews or as a reference in future.
