i didn't recive any msg from cat d paswrd id or successful payment though I did receive mail for both. Is there any thing wrong?

That's not a problem. if you have received your login id and password through mail only, it's perfectly alright. Use the login credentials to fill the application form of CAT 2018. Here is the step-by-step process of filling the CAT application form -

Well no, it is not a problem because you have received the credentials via mail.
However, I do understand your concern.

Do not worry because most of the communications happen via mail only.
Only the first password credential is received on your phone number and finally when results will be declared, that time they will intimate you that CAT'18 results are declared and your percentile is so and so, which anyway you will get to know because of huge levels of anticipations and nervousness. :)
All other communications for the calls received from different and respective IIMs will again come on your registered mail id. So, keep a track of your mail id, post CAT result declaration.
And work hard now, don't worry about phone messages. You might receive but very late.
So relax.
