I failed CBSE 12,then gave exams thorught NIOS and submitted my faied cbse marksheet to nios for TOC. i m not hapy with the collages i m getting, can i appear as CBSE PVT Candidate next year after already submitting my failed marksheet to NIOS? IS IT ALLOWED? IS IT POSSIBLE?

Hello Student,

You can appear as CBSE Private Candidate next year, even if you have submitted your CBSE marksheet to NIOS for TOC.

How is possible? - CBSE and NIOS are separate educational board. Submitting the marksheet to NIOS for TOC does not invalidate your CBSE Record.

There is also a CBSE by-law which states that a student who has failed to cleard the Senior School Certificate Examination can appear for the subsequent examination as a private candidate.
