I failed in maths in the 12th exam..but get 46percentile in the ST category at JEE mains..can I go for counseling in NIT'S??

Dear Aspirant, sorry to say but the minimum eligibility criteria for JOSAA counseling states that the student must require 75% in boards for general category and around 65% for other categories like SC, ST. You have to first clear all your subjects in boards then only you would be eligible for counseling.

You can not sit for JoSAA counselling, the eligibility criteria is to qualify Class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects scoring at least 65% marks for ST. But since you haven't qualified for the exam only, you are not eligible. Since you can't sit for JoSAA counselling you won't get admission in any NITs.
